Sending a job with Send
Upload the finished work and release it to your client to review, approve and pay.
Send is how finished work reaches your client. They review it, leave notes, approve it and pay, and only then can they download the files.
Send is included on Studio and Pro, and is £19 a month on Starter.
Open Send
Click the Console tile at the foot of Cue's sidebar. On the Send card, choose Set up Send the first time, then Open Send. Send opens in its own tab, signed in with your Console account.
Create a job
- In Send, open Jobs and choose New job.
- Choose the client, or add them with their email.
- Upload the files: the episode, the mix, the clips.
- Set what the client still owes.
If you use Pipeline in Cue, a won deal can create the Send job for you.
Release it
Choose Release to client. Your client gets an email with a link to their review page. See how clients review and approve for what they see.
When the client leaves notes
Notes come back on the job, each pinned to a moment: a cut, a noise to fix, or a clip they want. Make the changes and release the next version. On podcast work, Frame picks the notes up and applies them for you; see client notes and version 2 in Frame.
Getting paid
The client pays by card on the review page, straight into your own Square account. Send payments go through Square only, so connect Square even if your bookings use Stripe.
Storage
Send storage is 50 GB on Starter with Send, 250 GB on Studio and 1 TB on Pro.
